Bored in Brno? I don’t think so! / Nuda v Brne? Ani nahodou!

brno flickr imageI found a really nice report about Brno, written by this guy who is originally from there and recently came back to Brno for a short visit as a tourist. The article is short, sweet and entertaining (read the article right here). Now, all of you Moravians out there, tell me if you agree with him!

CZ: Nasla jsem vam moc hezkou reportaz o Brne, napsanou clovekem, ktery v tomto meste vyrostl a po dlouhe dobe se do nejย  vratil na par dni jako turista (clanek si prectete zde). Ted mi, vsici Moravaci, musite rict, jestli s nim souhlasite!

If you liked this post buy me a coffee! (Suggested:$3 a latte $8 for a pound) Thanks!

completely agree! I was born in brno and lived there till 5 years ago…when I lived there I always thoutgh it was a small and boring town but now, after 5 years away, I miss it so very much! I absolutely love my hometown! and my husband, an American, loves it too!!!!

I haven’t been to Brno but I’m looking forward to visiting this summer. However, I want to say that I have visited many of villages, towns and cities around Brno and have enjoyed it greatly. Yes, the pace of life is slower, but that is what draws me there. People just have more time for each other and, I’ve discovered, even in the smallest villages there seems to be a connection to the world through the internet!

Thanks for the input guys! I also think that as we get older the slower pace of life appeals to us a little more ๐Ÿ˜‰
I have to say I have been to Brno only once, when I was a little girl, and don’t remember anything. I am going to have to repeat the visit to find out what ‘true’ Brno is about. After all, my grandma was Moravian so it is part of my heritage ๐Ÿ˜‰
