Hoja Tanja! I am American, my husband is Slovak, I appreciate your post to our Atlanta Czech-Slovak meet-up group introducing your blog. Great info., I will spend some time checking it out. Pretty excited to get the inside scoop because my husband doesn’t seem to remember anything and I would really like to bring more traditions into our daughters life.

You should definitely check out that Atlanta meetup group. Also, if you have any questions as far as Slovak culture goes, I have a really good Slovak friend from New York (I met her through this blog) who could fill you in
