According to the Lidove Noviny newspaper Barack Obama has Czech ancestors! How is is possible? It is easy! Obama’s mother was descended from the British royal family line, from King Edward III and Kind Edward I. That links us to Eduard I and consequentially to the Czech King Vratislav II and further back to Prince Borivoj who was the first officially confirmed Bohemian prince of the Premyslid dynasty.
As I said before, without Czechs people would be still living in caves…;0)

Sorry, Obama is not “Czech”.
Obama is not descended from the British royal family. That’s a pretty ridiculous assertion, and it seems to come from the tabloid press. He supposedly shares an ancestor with (but is not descended from) Bessie Wallis, who married King Edward VIII of England. She was an American socialite who had been divorced twice when King Edward proposed to her, so to marry her he had to abdicate the throne. Wallis was not of royal blood, and anyway, Obama is not descended from her.
Some nutty British genealogist in the gossip press claims Obama is somehow connected to medieval kings of England and Scotland, but he names no names, so the connections are probably not real.
This is very much like a man I know who claims his daughter found out he was descended from Charlemagne (Karel Veliký). He he keeps old pictures of Charlemagne in his iPhone to show to people who doubt him, but it’s all ridiculous. Just because his nose looks like the nose that some artist 1,000 years later imagined Charlemagne might have had, it doesn’t mean they are related, but he seems to consider it “proof”.
This genealogy junk about Obama seems to have started during the presidential campaign. He had no experience, plus he was half black, so some crackpot evidently imagined a royal European lineage to make him seem more “presidential”. If they really had confidence in him, they wouldn’t have to do that.
