I have competed in the pageant and the young ladies learn a lot about their heritage. The memories will be with them for the rest of their lives. We all ended up friends and helped each other during the pageant.
I think it’s a great idea!!! Too bad I am too old now 🙂
I am from Wilber. Although I now live in Omaha, my daughter has applied to be one of the “Little Sisters” to the queen contestants this year. She is very excited to be a part of this and to expand her knowledge of her Czech heritage.
Hi Steve-O, I think that this is such a great way to get to know your heritage; I didn’t even know they had the “little sisters” position, that’s great:)
