I want to wish you all a happy Mother’s Day weekend! That’s a great thing about the United States – you get to really celebrate moms! Many of you know that we, the Czechs, have Mother’s Day as well but for some reason it seems to be the least celebrated holiday ever. It gets overpowered by the Children’s Day which is held on June 1st. I used to love Children’s Day though…
Isn’t Children’s Day on June 1?
….. and to you as well.
Thanks!
Ok, I have to check again…the thing is if you are trying to find something in the Czech search engines (atlas, seznam) – Good luck!! – I couldn’t find that date! Makes me so mad….
No mozna je to proto, ze se u nas dlouho slavilo MDZ (Mezinarodni den zen) a to byl pane svatek. Vsichni chlapi slavili jak o zivot, na to si moc dobre pamatuju. Jinak den deti je 1.cervna, pokud to nezmenili. Tak vsechno nejlepsi ke dni matek, mamko.
Children’s Day is JUNE 1st….not in MAY.
I look on atlas, seznam,….every day and find them as good if not better than yahoo or google.?.?
That’s right the communist MDZ kind of spoiled it for the current “democratic moms” 🙁
Thanks for the prompt correction ladies! At least I know that someone is reading my articles…
