A famous British chef and a former soccer champion, Gordon Ramsay, is known by the American audience mostly by his reality show called the Hell’s kitchen. In his homeland, however, Gordon is currently one of the three chefs whose restaurant is rated with 3 Michelin stars. He owns 11 restaurants in the UK as well as 11 restaurants worldwide. And now he is opening one in Prague. The restaurant is called the Maze Prague (there are currently other Maze restaurants of his all over the world) and is located in the Hilton hotel. The chef of the Czech Maze is Gordon’s cooking buddy, Philip Carmichael from London. The Manager of Maze will also be an English fellow (I guess he doesn’t trust Czech cooks too much).
CZ: Svetoznamy sef-kuchar a byvala fotbalova hvezda Gordon Ramsay je americkym divakum znamy diky jeho realitni show “Hell’s kitchen”. If you liked this post buy me a coffee! (Suggested:$3 a latte $8 for a pound) Thanks!
Is there one place that we can go to to find out when Gordon Ramsay is appearing in different countries? I usually don;t hear about it until he reaches the country or the press find out, and by then all of the die-hard fans have all the good seats.
Can anyone help – I know Gordon ramsay’s site doesn’t help much
Has anyone eaten there? I went to Maze in New York and I think that it was better than the main restaurant (and much more reasonably priced).
Any word on how the restaurant is going? Michelin stars? Are people attending? Is it hard to get a table?
Thanks
Hi Plonker,
I actually just read that the restaurant is not doing so hot (they are loosing money) and chef Ramsey said that they “have to get back to the traditional style of cooking”..whatever that means. Maybe it is just too sophisticated for Czech taste buds? We are meat-n-potato people…literally
