If you are planning a trip to Czech or just have not been back for a while and would you like to reminisce in your living-room this is a good site for you. Virtual Czech (click here) allows you to travel virtually all over this beautiful country! This way you can decide which Czech town/city is prettier to sight-see (a very hard task) or you can just visit the places where you grew up – everything over the Internet (crazy, huh?).
CZ: Jestlize se chystate na vylet do Ceske Republiky nebo jste tam zkratka jiz dlouho nezavitali a chcete si zavzpominat primo ve vasem obyvaku, tak pro vas mam prijemne prekvapeni. Ahoj,
Marvelous technology. Here in the states (USA), it’s called “Street Views.”
Check a Google maps for a large USA city and you might be able to walk along the road.
I tried to do that for Horni Radice, the city in the YouTube Masopust clip.
I hoped to see exactly which street and direction the parade marched along.
No street views were available. I also tried to view Old Town in Praha – No street views but the satellite option provided remarkable close up images of the area.
I hope your article will help accelerate the adoption of the street-view option to all parts of the Czech Republic.

Albert
Hi Albert,
Google Maps still have some work to do as far as the Czech Republic goes, right? Well slowly but surely they are getting there….Just wait couple of months and you may find what you were looking for 🙂
