What is the Czech style of living compared to other European states?

The person-to-area ratio is smaller compared to the European average. The Czechs occupy on average an area of 49 meter squared with 2.7 rooms and 2.6 people living in them. And what nation is living in the rooms size of an airport hallway? The Danish people! The average size of their house/flat is 110 meters squared with only 2.2 people living in it!
Regarding the basic home equipment such as running water,a toilet or a shower, those homes – although tiny – seem to be doing very well. About 95% of all of the Czech households have all of these necessities which puts us on the same level with the well-to-do states such as Austria and France. Country that is not doing that well in this area is Romania, for example, where only 53% of households have an actual running water.
The year 2007 is marked with a building insanity. The house mortgages are more affordable which in turn accelerates the increase of prices of the housing market. The average price of a house increased from 1996 to 2006 in 33% with an average house costing about 3 million Czech crowns.

Jak se Cechum bydli v porovnani s jinymi evropskymi staty?

Rozmery bydleni jsou v prumeru: 49 m2; 2,7 pokoju; 2,6 osob. Evropsky prumer je 76 m2; 3.6 pokoju a rovnez 2,6 osob. Bydlime tedy v porovnani s Evropou v malickych prostorach. “Haly” na druhou stranu obsazuji Danove (110m2 s pouze 2,2 lidmi!)
Co se tyce zakladni vybavenosti (tekouci voda, toaleta a sprcha) techto malickych mistnuskach, tak jsme na tom dobre – na stejne urovni s Rakouskem a Francii – kde 95% domacnosti je jimi vybaveno. Rumunsko ma napriklad tekouci vodu pouze v 53% domacnostech.
Rok 2007 zaznamenava proste stavebni silenstvi a to diky rozrustajicim se hypotekam a stavebnim sporeni, coz samozrejme akceleruje cenu nemovitosti. Prumerna cena rodinneho bytu vzrostla v r. 2006 o 33% v porovnani s r. 1996, kde barak dnes stoji zhruba 3 miliony korun.
V roce 1970 Cechy mely zhruba 3.2 milionu bytu a 3 miliony rodinnych domu. Dnes se tyto cisla zvysila na 4.4 mil. bytu a 6.5 baraku.
