This is great! The Czech/Slovak National Museum and Library also has a current listing of Czech/Slovak organizations so you may find it helpful to work with them. David Muhlena, Librarian
I’m sending an article I wrote recently to all you listed with e-mail addresses. It is regarding the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2012 competition founded 40 years ago, which was to be a living memorial to the lost children of Lidice. (Lidice was the village completed razed by Nazi SS on June 10, 1942. One of the worst atrocities of WWII. All men 16 and over shot dead, women were sent to concentration camps and out of 105 children, 17 were alive at war’s end. 70th anniversary this June, 2012.
We have one of two memorials to Lidice in the USA in our home town of Phillips, Wisconsin. We will have a memorial service on June 15th, Friday. Ambassador Gandalovic will be our speaker.
Good luck with this site, and thank you for all of the work you must put in.

Are there any Czech Slovak groups near Atlanta Georgia and/or classes for children to learn to speak Czech or Slovak. Thank you. Natalya
Hi I am looking for Czech or Slovak websites to find guys who are looking for relationship
Does anyone know of a Czech organization or small museum where I can donate some Czech items or moments? I live on Long Island, NY – or maybe there might be something in NYC. Please contact me at my e-mail address. All of these objects were brought back from Czech by my in-laws who were born there – and then moved to the USA.
In 1918 Denni Hlasatel published 4 obituaries of my maternal grandmother. They are, of course, in Czech. I have had no success in finding someone to translate these obits. Can anyone help?
