Czech and Slovak events for June are here! The US offers bunch of festivals, interesting lectures on Prague Spring as well as the concert of a well-known Czech-born jazz musician Rudy Linka.

More info: ‘Together with SVU we will return to regular (hopefully) shows of Czech films at the consulate. We shall restart on Wednesday June 2nd by Karamazovi by Petr Zelenka from year 2008. This critically acclaimed film projects the classical literary master piece into current world. Two weeks later on June 16th it will be Kdopak by se vlka bál (Who’s Afraid of the Wolf) by Maria Procházková. Fantastic film viewing the world of adults through the eyes of a five year old girl.’
Both shows will take place at the General consulate (10990 Wilshire blvd), as usual at 7:30.
