Awesome story Tanya. I once interned there. I miss Ms. Jirina Vostrezova very much. A beautiful, kind and decent woman. The embassy events did not impress me tough, but I figure to each his own. I hate politics, no clue what I was thinking way back when Look at you and the pres! Nice photo. Wow.

Thanks for your story, Tanja! I couldn’t make the reception myself, so I was happy to read about it. Can’t wait for the next part. Yes, traffic can be brutal during the rush hour. But there are some smaller roads that you can take to go to the embassy in order to avoid Connecticut Avenue (major lane for the suburbians to go back to their cookie-cutter houses). If you come back to DC again, let me know we can go for a coffee (and I’ll pay of course).
