Tanja, I have plans of going to Germany and UK. I wonder why these 2 countries have rather different views?

I read about the Czech side on how they perceive the EU. It’s quite similar to the English view of the EU, which they claim that this will make UK lose sovereignty over its own country. I wonder why many of the German population seem to like it?

Wow, I didn’t know they have their special “Tuzex/Eso”!!! Pretty soon all of the EU members will be walking in one colored uniform – something like blue overalls:))

Tanja, yes, I pretty much hate EU as an institution.
At the same time, I love Europe.. The EU is trying the same approach as USSR took 90 years ago… We all know where it went.
Most of politicians in EU are socialist or even communists, and they want to have a centralized power all over Europe and impose identical rules and laws on all EU countries which simply cannot work.
Politicians and majority of hight ranked employees in European Parliament don’t pay any income tax and their
children study in “European school”, where even money will not buy you access if you don’t work for European parliament…And yes, as in communist countries, they have their own “special food stores”, where they get food for lower price … You will not be admitted there if you don’t work there….
During lunch breaks, guess what, they serve wine and beer and you can relax in an “employee’s bar” having a shot of whisky before getting back to “work”…..

EU would be Kafka’s favorite theme in his books…

I don’t really believe in EU either. There is no way that all of these independent countries will agree with everything at all times!

I’m glad its over. I can’t think of a good thing which came out of it. Czech politicians ruined it.

What is here to celebrate? Czechs should be ashamed for taking part in that disaster called “European Union”…
I don’t see how EU can last another 20 years if even in USA some states want to become independent….In both cases entering the union was a contract with devil…
