totally!! Except now they probably now they probably don’t get grounded anymore…the parents think it’s the teacher’s fault.

That reminds me of the film “Elementary School” (Obecna Skola), where the students’ misbehavior drives the lady teacher to insanity.

I think that summer camps are have a little more “special” students, since they usually chose to be there (i.e. they parents have to pay for it) and are excited about learning English.
I am glad they were good to you and did not end up throwing rotten tomatoes at you or something

This news is so sad. I taught English for three weeks in CZ at a summer camp, and I could not believe how diligent my students were. It was amazing! I went home and told my mom (a teacher in the US) that she’s in the wrong country.
