Dead people in the Czech Republic are in trouble../ Mrtvoly v Ceske Republice jsou v brynde

Do you know what is the hardest job position to fill in the Czech Republic? Grave-digging! Some current gravediggers work at as much as 7 graveyard locations. Why is it so hard to fill these spots? Besides the fact that one has to deal with dead bodies all the time, there is also a required course that a potential gravedigger has to take in order to become the real deal. It costs 4,000 Czech crowns and does have a final examination at the end of it. The exam consists of 2 parts:

A/ one has to dig a grave within a certain time limit

B/ an applicant has to answer questions on hygiene and safety at the workplace

In order to attract more applicants the author of the article, Daniela Lazarova, suggests the following:”Maybe the ministry will have to offer some perks and put up a few action-packed billboards advertising this profession..” 🙂

CZ: Vite, ktere zamestnani v Ceske Republice je nejmene zadouci? Hrobarstvi! Nekteri hrobari maji v soucasne dobe na starost kolem 7 hrbitovu na osobu (hrobare). Tak proc je jich takovy nedostatek? Krome toho, ze musi pracovat s mrtvolami, musi zajemci take podstoupit naucnym kruzem a na konci z neho take slozit zkousku. Kurz stoji kolem 4,000 kourn a test se sklada ze dvou casti:

A/ student musi vykopat diru behem urciteho casoveho limitu

B/ aplikant take musi spravne odpovedet na otazky tykajici se hygieny a bezpecnosti na pracovisti

Daniela Lazarova, tvurce tohoto clanku, sama navrhuje, aby vlada vytovrila “atraktivni” bilboardy, lakajici verejnost do hrobarske profese 🙂
