People won’t have to die anymore!/ Lide uz nemusi zbytecne umirat!

Wenceslas Square yahoo imageMaybe Prague is your home or you may just have visited this city once. No matter how familiar with Prague one is, you cannot miss the remains of this “progressive” communist creation which is also the biggest thorn of the downtown – the city freeway. The 4-lane road is located “conveniently” right bellow the National Museum, on the top of the Wenceslas square. What does that mean for the pedestrians? It means that every time you want to walk from Prague 2 to Prague 1 (which is quite often) you have two choices:

1. Take the underground tunnels which are about 10 miles long and quite dark for my taste

2. Run across the freeway

I – and almost anyone I know – would usually pick the latter option, which means – run for your life and may God be with you!

Now there is an end to all this suffering. The city is about to sign an agreement on a new solution, with the new freeway being located behind the National Museum AND below the ground! And yes, the Wenceslas Square will be one again….

Vetsina lidi si vybere alternativu druhou, tedy potencialni smrt.

A Vaclavak bude tedy konecne sjednoceny….
